• Leaf Removal

  • Many of us have asked this question: why do you need to rake leaves, aside from keeping the yard neat and clean? After all, many leaves such as those that fall from maple trees actually look nice. It makes you even wonder why your next door neighbor is working diligently making sure every last leave is raked from their lawn. It makes you wonder if your neighbor knows something that you don't know. Well, the fact is that raking leaves from your lawn has a lot to do with the health of the lawn, not so much it's appearance. One thing to realize is that your lawn actually has to "breath". If you have a thick layer of leaves on your lawn, you are basically suffocationg your lawn, which of course inhibits its growth. This heavy layer of leaves can also attract unwanted pests. A thick layer of leaves can prevent water and nutrients and air from getting to your grass. As leaves continuously fall without being disposed of, you may eventually get a layer of leaves so thick that it actually keeps your grass from growing. At Manuicured Lawns and Garden we use different types of equipment for leaf removal and we can dispose of them quickly and efficiently.
